Who owns the data on the platform

The short answer: the data belongs to your family. We only store it carefully and help you share it.

The family is the owner

Everything you upload stays yours. The service makes no claim on the rights to photos, stories and voice and does not use them to train outside models without consent. We only store memory carefully and help share it.

Export at any time

The entire memorial archive can be exported as a single file — photos, stories, life timeline and page structure. It is both a backup and a guarantee of independence: memory is not held hostage to a subscription. You can always keep everything on your own computer.

Deletion on request

If you decide to delete a memorial, it is deleted completely and irreversibly. We do not keep “shadow copies” against your decision — this is part of our attitude to memory. Control over what stays and what disappears belongs to the family.

What this means in practice

Family ownership of the data is not just words in a policy but built-in features: export, deletion, flexible privacy and role-based access. You are not tied to the service and can take everything with you at any time. Trust is built precisely on this.

  • Materials remain the family’s property.
  • Export of the whole archive as one file.
  • Full, irreversible deletion on request.
  • No training of outside models without consent.
