How to Sort People Into Circles
A single person is revealed differently through family, friends, and colleagues. Circles of people help you see them from every side.
What circles there are
Family, children, relatives, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and others. Everyone who adds a memory notes their circle — that is, their relationship to the person. It takes a second but gives the memory page a great deal.
Why it's useful
Memories are grouped by circle, and the portrait of the person becomes rich: you can see how they were known at home, at work, around the neighborhood, in friendship. The same person is revealed differently across different circles, and together they form a complete picture.
Easy to read and filter
On the memory page, stories can be viewed by circle — for example, only colleagues' accounts or only the children's memories. This helps you not get lost when there are many memories, and lets you read the memory in the way that suits you.
The link to the family tree
Circles echo the family tree: close relatives mentioned in memories naturally fall into the genealogy. That way the memory of the person and their place in the family complement each other.
